Webtack A

The Webtack system works with contact delivery of adhesive to the web. This has the following advantages: The adhesive delivery is edge-accurate with a defined glue line, glue consumption is minimized, the tendency of over spraying is reduced and an exact start- and endpoint of the glue line is guaranteed.

Webtack Main unit

The main unit is for the distribution of power, media and machine signals. The integrated terminal can also be used as an perator information system. The main components are the power- and liquid connections as well as the trolley for a 30 kg drum with glue and a 10 litre can with concentrated softening liquid.

The glue level is controlled by means of a scale and as an option glue barrels can be directly connected. The liquids are circulated with a membrane pump. Webtack Satellite The satellites supply the appropriate applicator head with electric power, liquids and information. The main function is to safe and to control the current positioning-and glue pattern data. The well accessible operator panel enables to adjust the parameters for the vertical and horizontal positioning of the applicator head on the spot as well as the flow rates of the glue and the softening liquid. The integrated push button is for checking the function of the applicator head. The CANBUS-Network allows the connection of up to 32 satellites to the Webtack main unit.

Webtack Traverse

With this traverse and the applicator heads either glue or softening liquid can be applied onto the printing material. The electromagnetic direct controlled applicator heads »ECXM-WT series« are suitable for high switch speeds and average viscous dispersion adhesive. The heads are equipped with a precise carbide nozzle.

Permanent pipe laying The permanent pipe laying consisting of plastic coated aluminium tubes are for circulating adhesive, softening liquid and water through the Webtack system. Air diffusion does not occur and therefore the glue can not dry-up or skinning.
